7 Tips to Stay Productive During a Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has been going on for more than a year and it is still uncertain when it will end. 1. Get Enough Sleep

Ideally, humans sleep at night for 7-8 hours by following the psychological stages of sleep. On the other hand, taking a short nap during the day is also good for replenishing energy. With enough sleep, we can perform various daily activities effectively and maximally.

2. Sports

In order not to get bored, we can also occasionally run in the morning or cycle around the place of residence, but make sure to still wear a mask and keep your distance from other people.

If you are lazy to do strenuous exercise, you still have to exercise for at least 15 minutes in the morning after drinking a glass of water and having a small meal. The movements carried out are:

4. Doing a Useful Hobby

In addition, playing games, watching movies, using social media, can also be productive activities because they are entertainment for us so that feeling tired or bored can disappear. However, make sure to keep doing other activities because they can also be counterproductive if done in excess.

5. Learn New Skills

In addition to doing hobbies, sometimes we can also get bored of the hobbies we already have. Try to learn new skills or improve skills in the field you are currently working on. That way, our experience will increase and maybe we can produce something useful.

The way to learn a skill can be by asking people closest to who are more understanding, reading from Google, or you can also watch from YouTube videos. The most important thing is to do activities to fill spare time to be more useful.

6. Participate in Online Activities

Registering for online training or courses, becoming an online volunteer, participating in competitions, attending webinars, online internships, these are some examples of online activities that we can do from home.

Knowledge, experience, or maybe a certificate of results from participating in these activities are very useful in improving self-competence and can also be used to help others. In addition, some online activities are held free of charge or free of charge. It's just a matter of how we want to be diligent in finding the information that is currently circulating on social media, such as Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp groups, or Telegram.

7. Helping Others

In addition to doing activities that are beneficial for ourselves, we can also look for positive activities in order to help others who need help. It should be remembered that we are not the only ones affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, there are many people out there whether family, friends, neighbors, or even people we don't know who are experiencing difficulties.

Try to do something we can to lighten the burden of others. For example, giving charity, giving food, buying food from small traders, or you can also distribute masks and hand sanitizers.
